When a user joins the company, as well as creating a file for them in Optimal HR, they need to be activated so that they can take full advantage of all the functionalities available to them in the solution. The user will also need to be deactivated when they leave the company.

Below is the procedure for deactivating or activating an employee,

Deactivate an employee

In the left-hand side menu, in the β€˜Settings β€œ menu, click on ”Institution’. On this new page, click on the employee concerned in the β€˜Users’ tab.

In the employee's β€˜MAIN INFORMATION’ box, you have the option to β€˜Deactivate’.

Activate an employee

In the left-hand side menu, in the β€˜Parameters β€œ menu, click on ”Institution’. On this new page, you have a β€˜Deactivated’ filter. By selecting β€˜Yes’, the list of deactivated employees will be displayed.

Click on the employee you wish to reactivate. A new page will be displayed.

All you have to do is go to the employee's β€˜MINCIPAL INFORMATION’ box, where you have the β€˜Deactivate’ option. Deactivate this option to activate the employee.
